Description

This device has been developed by arm wrestlers and physiotherapists for specific arm wrestling training. Pronation is one of the most important pillars in arm wrestling. The special feature of this handle: it addresses the entire chain of pronation. Your hand and thumb can also be integrated with it. A healthy balance of all muscles is created in your hand, preparing you for a successful and injury-free competition. All this makes this handle your indispensable companion for your arm wrestling training.

Why do I need the pronation handle?

Pronation is an important tool in arm wrestling to gain the upper hand in the match. To build the necessary strength, we developed this handle. It combines the feeling at the table and the physiological hand training equally. This allows you to build a stable and healthy wrist with strong pronation in the long term.

In arm wrestling, pronation refers to rotating your forearm inward so that your palms face down. This is exactly the movement you will perform with the pronation handle.

Operating instructions

Attach the handle to a cable pull tower or training rubber band using the carabiner.

The tool works for both hands. Choose which hand you want to start with!

Place the thumb of your training hand between both straps and find a good grip. Hold the tool so that your fingers are on the long side of the handle.

Our recommendation:
- seek contact with your thumb to fully utilize it
- try to put your thumb on your index finger
- concentrate on keeping your thumb on your index finger during the pronation movement (this is where the real arm wrestling power unfolds!)

Tips for your training

With this grip you can train various elements of pronation and thus strengthen your forearm and wrist.

  1. Pronation from below
  2. Pronation from the front
  3. Pronation from the side

Be dynamic or stay still! Dynamic and static training each offer their own benefits. Use both styles to unlock your full potential.

Example of dynamic training for pronation from the front:

Start from supination (the opposite movement to pronation) and pull your hand toward you. As you do this, pronate the handle. Stay focused and maintain a steady pace. Try to maintain your form for 1 minute. To achieve this, you must first choose an appropriate weight. Through this training, you will internalize the pronation movement and thus improve your movement at the table.

Example of static training for pronation from the front:

Hold the grip in a pronated position and pull backward. Stay there for 10 seconds. You'll notice that this is easier than moving the same weight dynamically. Therefore, choose a correspondingly heavier weight. This allows you to use heavier weights during static training, thereby increasing your strength level at armwrestling-specific angles.

These are just a few basic elements of pronation training. We invite you to get creative and share your favorite variation with us! You can find our social media channels at the beginning of this manual.

The goal is always to build confidence. So pay attention to your training weight. For beginners, we recommend starting with 5-10 kg. First, familiarize yourself with your new training equipment.
